Terms of Service

Waybound is a travel discovery and comparison platform that aggregates listings for vacation homes, flights, car rentals, and experiences from third-party providers. We help you find, compare, and access travel options — but we are not a direct booking agent, travel agency, or supplier.

We may earn an affiliate commission when you complete a booking through our links. This does not affect the price you pay.

Waybound partners with the following affiliate networks and booking platforms:

• Travelpayouts — flights, hotels, and travel products
• Expedia Group — hotels, vacation rentals, and flight bookings
• Viator (Tripadvisor) — tours, activities, and experiences
• Yelp — local business discovery and reviews

When you make a booking through one of our partner links, you enter into a direct agreement with that partner. Waybound is not a party to that agreement and is not responsible for the partner's services, pricing, cancellation policies, or any disputes arising from your booking.

Pricing, availability, and terms displayed on Waybound are provided by third-party partners and are subject to change. Always verify current pricing and terms directly with the booking partner before completing a purchase.

When using Waybound, you agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service or its related systems
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the platform without written permission
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely represent your affiliation with any person or entity
• Use the Service to transmit spam, malware, or other harmful content
• Circumvent affiliate tracking or intentionally manipulate referral systems
• Attempt to reverse-engineer any component of the Service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for users who violate these conduct guidelines.

The Waybound name, logo, website design, and all original content on the platform are the intellectual property of Waybound and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Travel listings, property descriptions, prices, and images displayed on Waybound are sourced from third-party partners and are their respective intellectual property. We display this content under license or affiliate agreement.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of any Waybound content without our prior written consent.

Waybound contains links to third-party websites, booking platforms, and services. These links are provided for your convenience and to facilitate travel bookings.

We have no control over the content, privacy practices, or terms of these third-party sites and accept no responsibility for them. Accessing third-party links is at your own risk. We encourage you to read the terms and privacy policies of any third-party site you visit.

The inclusion of any link to a third-party site does not constitute an endorsement of that site by Waybound, nor does it imply any association between Waybound and the operators of that site beyond the affiliate relationship.

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Waybound expressly disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to:

• Accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of travel listings, prices, or availability
• Fitness for a particular purpose or merchantability
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation of the platform
• The quality or suitability of any accommodation, flight, vehicle, or experience listed

Waybound does not guarantee that any booking made through a partner link will result in a confirmed reservation. All bookings are subject to the partner's terms and availability.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Waybound and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of bookings, revenue, or data
• Travel disruptions, cancellations, or changes made by third-party providers
• Inaccurate or outdated pricing or availability information
• Any harm resulting from your use of a third-party booking platform
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data

In no event shall Waybound's total liability to you for all claims exceed the amount you paid to Waybound (if any) in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. If you have not paid Waybound any amounts, our total liability to you shall not exceed $100 USD.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

You agree that any dispute resolution will take place on an individual basis; class arbitrations and class actions are not permitted.
