Property verification
Every property listed on Waybound goes through a verification process before it appears in search results. We check ownership documentation, review host history, and confirm that listing photos match the actual space. Properties that receive repeated complaints are removed.
Secure payments
All payments on Waybound are processed through encrypted, PCI-compliant infrastructure. Your card details are never stored on our servers. Funds are held until 24 hours after check-in — hosts are only paid once you've arrived safely.
Booking protection
If a property is misrepresented — the listing doesn't match reality, the host cancels last minute, or access is denied on arrival — we'll find you a comparable alternative or issue a full refund. No arguing, no claim forms.
Verified reviews
Reviews on Waybound can only be left by guests who completed a stay. We don't allow review manipulation — no incentivized reviews, no removing negative feedback unless it violates our content policy. What you read is what real guests experienced.
24/7 support
Something goes wrong at 2am in a foreign city? Our support team is available around the clock by chat and email. We don't have phone trees or bots — you get a real person who can actually help.
Privacy & data
We don't sell your personal data. Travel history, payment information, and search behavior stay on our platform and are used only to improve your experience. You can request a full export or deletion of your data at any time.
